spam email saying one of my passwords has been hacked
Hi I have just has a spam email saying one of my passwords has been hacked! the only worrying think is that it looks like a long secure password that I could have been generated in 1password. The email gives the password but I am trying to find a way of searching for this password in 1password to find out the account that may have been hacked. My question is: Is there a way of searching for a particular password in 1password?
1Password Version: 7.2.617

@MJDENN: Indeed, I get those a lot myself. Not only annoying, but certainly jarring at first. It's unfortunately becoming such a common scare tactic that we had a blog post on this practice last year:
Email Blackmail Scams Getting You Down? Stay Safe in Your Very Own Watchtower!
While you can search in 1Password to help track something like that down, using Watchtower can help you triage issues with any items you've saved in 1Password that need your attention. That alone should help, but let me know if you have any other questions.

@MJDENN to find item with this password - just type part of that password into search box.

Thank you. Nothing came up so I guess they just typed anything to try to trick people!
