Facebook says password strength is only 'medium'

Today when I used the password generator to create a five-word password, 1P said the strength was "fantastic" but Facebook said it was only "medium." (I tried it a few times and got the same result.)

I assume Facebook is just wrong about this?

    Hi @DavidB!

    It's possible that some websites look at whether a password has numbers of symbols in it to calculate its strength rather than at length alone. If you add a number or a symbol to your password (even just one) does Facebook's rating improve?

    I would not call it wrong, they have a different view and probably want to encourage use of special characters as well, even though the effect of adding those is very debatable.
