lost password data - how to sync back?

This is what I have:
1) Vault when I sign in on my macbook air: personal account, number of passwords: 1 - I don't know what version this is, and how to get that version info.

2) Desktop app aka 1 password mini: personal (1 password inside), primary (many passwords inside - 301?) - I don't know what version this is, and how to get that version info.

3) Chrome extension: saying desktop app is required - but just downloaded extension via the desktop app. no vaults, no passwords - I don't know what version this is, and how to get that version info. I'll try quitting chrome and restarting my computer, and seeing if that will help.

4) iphone: personal (1 password inside) and primary (301 inside) accounts - Version 7.3.1

I'm thoroughly confused about how to get everything to sync so that the data that is in the primary account on my iphone is shared across all these platforms, and how to ensure that the primary account is where all data is saved on every account and why it's not default to have it this way in the first place, so that customers like me do not have this problem.

So, how do I get that primary account to sync, so that all data is shared? If i try to sync on my iphone, nothing happens. There's not an option to choose all the 301 passwords on that primary account, and move them, so I'm stuck. What is the solution? How can I get the chrome

update on 3) works fine now with restart.

I'm wondering if the problem is to do with an upgrade - I was prompted to do one - so wondering if I now have 1 password x on my laptop, and nowhere else, hence, the problem.

    Hi @gusseting!

Personal is the vault of your 1Password.com account. Primary is the standalone vault, outside of your 1Password account. Generally, we recommend completely removing the Primary vault from your devices (which is the opposite of what you would like to do), exactly to avoid this type of confusion.

Can you please elaborate a little bit on what you are trying to do? Specifically, why you would like to continue using the old standalone vault rather than the new 1Password account?

I just want access to my passwords across all instances of 1password. That is all that I'm trying to do. I want to use the old standalone vault because I can't work out how to copy out of it, and that's where my passwords are stored.
So if the solution is to migrate out of primary, can you tell me how to do that without losing those passwords?
I was given instructions on twitter to simply select all, copy and paste, but theres no function that I can find to select all in the primary vault on my phone.
I'd just like a simply, easy solution which is not going to take days to implement, which is what is currently happening here. It's very frustrating, so the sooner and faster I can get this sorted, the better.

You can move your items from your Primary vault to your Personal vault. The tutorial also shows you how to select all items at once on iOS. For your convenience, here are the instructions to do it:

To move or copy multiple items:

    1. In any item list, scroll to the top and tap Select Items.
    2. Select the items. You can select all the items in the list using the checkbox above the list.
    3. Tap Move or Copy and choose a vault.
