Syncing via Dropbox, I have duplicate logins on my mobile devices, but not on my Desktop.

I've had standalone licenses on my mobile devices, but just recently purchased the annual subscription for 1Password7. I'm syncing my devices with Dropbox, and now have duplicate logins on my mobile devices. Each device has a slightly different version of 1Password. My phone is 7.3.1, My iPad is 7.3.2, and my desktop is 7.3.684. I'm confused. How do I get them to be the same?

Hi @BrianG61!

You can ignore the different version numbers: 1Password apps on different platforms have different version numbers. What is important is that you are running the latest version of every app for good measure. In your case, you can update 1Password on your iPhone through the App Store to update it to the same version running on your iPad, but the difference there is minor, so it wouldn't cause any problems with syncing.

The duplicates could be caused by multiple vaults on your mobile devices: if you migrated your data to your 1Password Membership account, but you left your old Primary vault in the app, you will indeed see duplicates. To make sure this is what is happening: if you open 1Password on your iPhone and iPad and navigate to Settings > Vaults > All Vaults, do you see a vault named Primary there?

Hi!

Yes I do see there are two vaults. One vault called Personal, listed under my Account name, and one called Primary, listed under Dropbox. Do I turn off Primary? If I'm syncing via Dropbox should I keep that one turned on?

Yes, you should remove the Primary vaults from your devices. If you now use a 1Password Membership, you do not need to sync your data with Dropbox anymore. And removing the Primary vaults should remove the duplicates ;)
