Hi Folks. I have found what appears to be 1Password backups (e.g. 1Password 2015-03-13 13_13_55 (0 profiles, 0 items, 0 folders, 0 attachments).1p4_zip) dating from this date to Feb 23rd 2017 in home-Library-Containers-2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper-Data-Library-Backup on my Mac in OSX10.13.6. Why are these here and can I delete them?__

Hi @Pat22! Welcome to the forum!

Why are these here and can I delete them?

Do you mean why 1Password stores backups in that specific folder or why 1Password stores backups at all?

In any case, you are free to delete these backups if you don't need them, or if you have additional backup methods (such as the automatic backups that come with a 1Password Membership, for example).

Thanks ag_ana. Well I do have a monthly subscription, so then can I assume that agilebits are backing up my passwords for me?

@Pat22: Yes, if you have a 1Password subscription and you are storing your data inside your 1Password account, then we are backing up that data for you :)

Just make sure that your items are not stored inside a local vault (like the Primary vault, if you still have it in the app), because in that case, backups of those items can only be made locally, so in that case you might want to keep the local backups too.
