Looking for secret password sharing functionality

I am interested in having the ability to have employees, in particular, my VA's, be able to access some of my accounts without seeing or being able to record the login info for these accounts. Can you tell me if this functionality is possible?

Yes, this is possible, with a large caveat.

To understand the caveat I'd recommend starting with this guide:

How vault permissions are enforced in 1Password accounts

To boil it down, I would liken this protection to the locks on desk drawers. They are easily defeated, but do signal to someone that the contents are private. It may help keep honest people honest. It will not stop someone who is determined to do so from discovering the password. With the way web browsers currently work there is really no way around that. It'll be possible for someone to obtain the password from the password field in the web browser after it has been filled from 1Password into that field.

The best way to ensure someone does not have access to an account after the time period in which they are supposed to have access is to change the password.

    Ben
