Can’t update a PDF file attached to my drivers licence entry, app says new file is deleted item?
Edit drivers licence entry
Delete old attached file
click Add new file
Browse to file on iCloud
Select for replacement
Field shows this
(deleted item)
Filename.pdf. Filename being the name of any new file selected
Select done and scroll to see attachment
No entry found.
The pdf is copied every time to the documents category, but is not linked to the licence entry
I’ve tried to clear out any trace of the file by purging trash
Renamed the file and changed the location of the file that I browse to retrieve to no avail.
Only thing I haven’t tried is deleting the licence entry and retype a new entry, which is highly undesirable.
A similar issue was reported in March 2017

Recreated the licence entry and attached the new licence file and it worked seamlessly using the file I wanted to use during the update process. Would really rather just replace a file when required...

Not sure it’s a suggestion as much as a complaint. The delete and add new file functionality is broken.
