Cannot transfer old passwords to new family account

I have a personal 1password account that has all of my passwords saved on it. A family member invited me to their family account, I created a new account for the family account with the same email address and master password as my old account. I was unable to transfer my passwords while following the instructions here: https://support.1password.com/migrate-1password-account/

After I click "Add your account directly" and input my master password, it says that my user, secret key, or password is incorrect. I am 100% sure that none of these values are incorrect.

    @ajowings - I'm sorry for the trouble. Quick question: did you previously have your older, individual 1Password account added to the local 1Password 7 for Windows app?
