Please enable generating two factor authentication for openvpn

1password does not seem to support scanning of QR codes or generating two factor authentication keys for openvpn. Is there any way to enable this support?

    Hey @rklahn ,
I'm not familiar with the type of 2FA openVPN offers, but 1Password supports standard 2FA so if the website you are using offers you to use Authy or Google authenticator - 1Password can be used as well.

You can scan a QR code with 1Password or manually input the secret string into the login and it will generate 2FA codes for you. You can learn more here: https://support.1password.com/one-time-passwords/

If you are using 1Password X in your browser, when you get to the 2FA setup and are asked to scan the QR code, click the 1Password icon on the top right of your browser, select the login of that website and click the QR button on the bottom right of the window. It will scan the computer screen and will add the QR code to that login.

If openVPN uses a different kind of 2FA (such as SMS or email), then no 2FA app can help here.
