Creating a standalone vault in 1Password for Mac

    Based on comment by MikeT above:
    "...if you're using Windows app, you can go to the 1Password menu > New Vault on this PC to create that new standalone vault."
    How can I create a local (standalone) vault on my Mac?

    Thanks, but does this result in a vault that is stored locally on my computer or on the servers? There doesn’t seem to be settings for location of vault.

    This is what I see when I open that menu @glingct:

    If you select the standalone option, it will create a new standalone vault, otherwise it will create the vault on the server, depending on the account you select in the list.

    @glingct @ag_ana In order to get that "New Stand Alone Vault . . ." to appear you first need to enable it in
    1Password> Preferences> Advanced thusly:
