Problems with Sync to iOS

I've just downloaded version 7 to my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. To get started, I typed in a few records to the Mac version with no problem. Then I started trying to synchronize that with my iPad and got nowhere. Your website states, and I quote: "Zero setup. Sign in to your account on any device, and your data is there." If my data is there, I can't find it. I see a vault named "Private" on my iPad but there seems to be nothing in it. What am I doing wrong?
