creating a login on ios crashes 1password

ios 12.4.1 on iphone 6s, just checked for updates on 1password, there are none. so i create a new login, type in a few letters of my username and 1password crashes. this is repeatable. have sent in 2 crash reports (option appears when i restart 1password) this am. HELP

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty. Have you tried rebooting your phone since this started? Instructions on how to do so can be found here, if not:

you were right, reboot fixed it

v7.5.1 is now available in the App Store. It may take a little while for the App Store to push it out to you, but once installed that should alleviate any further difficulties with this. Thanks!
