Please try a restart of 1Password and your browser. It could be a recent update from Brave or perhaps the new beta that we released today.

    1. Quit Safari or any other open web browsers.

      • No lights under the browser icons
    2. Open and then quit 1Password completely. Pick one of the two options.

    • 1Password must be the frontmost app to quit properly. It does not need to be unlocked.

      a. Hold down the Control and Option keys on your keyboard and choose 1Password > Quit 1Password Completely from the menu bar.

      or

      b. Press the following keys simultaneously. ⌘⌥⌃Q (Command Option Control Q)

    1. Open and Unlock 1Password, and then the Browser.

After posting this, I noticed that I had a pending Brave update that hadn't been applied yet. Since applying the update, I haven't seen the above error panel, so I think my problem has resolvee itself.

  • Thanks @Cowbay. When an update to the browser is installed it breaks the signature of the browser until the browser is restarted (to complete the update). If you see this in the future restarting the browser should fix it.
