Safari Tech Preview - cmd-\ and inline unlock don't work

hitting cmd-\ brings up a window to install the extension, even though it is installed (and will fill if you use the in-field icon).

Also, the "unlock 1 password" you get in the in-line does nothing.

this is with 7.7 beta-2 and Safari Release 111 (Safari 14.0, WebKit 15610.1.23.1.2)
