Trouble logging into 1Password desktop client after Master Password reset
Couldn't find a support topic for this so need to ask here.
I recently had my master password reset by an admin and received a new emergency recovery pdf with new Master Key. I've used the new key and password to successfully log back into the 1password website and the Chrome browser extension. But I cannot log into the Windows desktop client. I know I'm using the right password as I can access elsewhere.
Support topics mention one can log out of the desktop client by logging in and hitting sign out. I'm guessing I need to do something like this so I can apply my new master key - but I can't find a way to do it. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the desktop client but it doesn't prompt me for a username and key when I do this, so I still can't log in. Appreciate help with this issue.

Hi @GuyC! Welcome to the forum!
It sound like your 1Password app is still expecting your old Master Password. You can reset the 1Password app so you can login with your new credentials directly however:
