How to export a vault from the Linux app?

In this article, you say that 1Password for Linux can export data. I don't see this option. How can I export all the data in my vault to a csv file?

    Hi @fastai

The option to export can be found in the menu bar under File > Export:

You can press the alt key to reveal the menu if it is hidden. :+1:

  • Thank you, it doesn't export to csv though. I have tried importing the .data file into Lastpass (1password option in Lastpass), it wasn't able to restore anything.

    Hi @fastai,

That's currently expected, it only export to the new 1Password export format. There is no tool that supports and convert that format just yet, it's limited to 1Password right now but this will be improved in time.

CSV is too lossy to consider for the complex data structures that 1Password use. LastPass I believe uses the older 1Password Interchange file format (1PIF). There's no way to migrate the data into other tools at the moment.
