1Password Beta 0.9.6 🎉

edited November 2020 in Linux Beta

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope that all the folks in the US got the chance to relax with a long Thanksgiving break. 🦃 We have a lot of small changes and visual improvements, but there are two important ones.

First, a bug fix. We've improved 1Password to ask you to sign in again whenever you change your 1Password credentials such as your 1Password account's email address.

Additionally, we have re-added vault collections. You cannot save them, but hopefully that will be here soon. For now, this is just a user interface for you to experiment with and for us to develop on.

There's more, though, so check out our release notes for more details.

Blank Screen Problems

We are getting reports that in certain virtual machines, 1Password for Linux will show up as a blank or white view. For now, we've found that if you quit 1Password and then open Terminal to run this command, it will help.

1password --disable-gpu

We hope to find a resolution soon.

Installing and upgrading

Go to the getting started guide for instructions on installing or updating 1Password.

As always, thank you so much for using 1Password and for all of the reports you send in that help us make our service better.
