I cannot change my profile name instead only my profile picture.

The account in question is a member of a family subscription. Navigating to https://my.1password.com/profile on Firefox and Chrome allow me to select the "Edit Details" option to change the profile picture but the name isn't editable. Unfortunately, I did not capitalize the name correctly during registration.

    Hi @conradhaupt! Welcome to the forum!

    I have just tested this and I was able to edit the name, the field was editable for me (I tried this in Chrome). This account is also a member of a Families account, for reference. Are you able to post a screenshot that shows that the field is not editable?

    Hi @ag_ana. Maybe it's something with my setup. I have attached a screenshot here.

    I took the screenshot in a private window of Firefox (Linux) with all extensions disabled except for HTTPS Everywhere. Could it be something to do with my browser or OS? Also, I wouldn't rule out that I'm doing something wrong.

    I have a solution that may be the intended way of carrying out a profile name change. I had to be logged in to the main family account to change the family member's profile name. I could not change the name as the family member itself.

    Is this the intended functionality?

    Some more information: the main account was logged in on a Windows machine with Chrome.

    I have heard back and I confirm that this is the expected behavior: the change can only be performed by an account owner.

    Hi @ag_ana, I've got more or less the same problem. Didn't find anything in the forum. Maybe it's also the problem I'm using 1password with the German edition. Not that easy to find the right name of the vaults name I want to change. I am the owner of the app. But my "private vault" I neither can rename it nor I can delete it. I've opened a new vault but, this doesn't matter. The name is either "privat" or my old company name. What to do? Best! Tom

    The Private vault cannot be renamed, it's a default vault which cannot removed at the moment (regardless of the language).

    You can however create a new vault and name them anything you wish. Any vault that you create yourself can also be deleted afterwards, only the Private vault is a special one.

    I'm going to open a new account (changing first my email of the current one). Would ask for a transfer of my current license starting transferring the passwords from one to the other. If that doesn't work. I'll have to see. If the license thing fails, doesn't matter, the transferring part would be perfekt. Thx!

    Understood. You should then do this, if I understood it correctly:

    1. Sign up for a new account
    2. Add the new account to the 1Password app
    3. Move items from your previous account to the new one
