When I changed any information on website, information under firefox extension is not updated at the same time or later until I lock and unlock 1password. Is it normal that I have to resign to get the newest information?

    Hey there @ScottWong 👋

That doesn't sound right, no. 1Password in the browser should be updating immediately. When you visit https://my.1password.com, is your account signed in, or are you asked to sign in and authenticate your account?

    Hi @kaitlyn

    1. go to https://my.1password.com directly, sign in is asked.
    2. click edit button in firefox extension to go to https://my.1password.com, signed in.
Then I found out in case 1, information is update immediately, case 2 no any change.
this should be similar why the problem can be fix by lock and unlock.
i think i just keep update information by not from firefox extension to prevent this problem for a while.
please try to check if the problem exist or not and could it be fix.

    thanks

Sorry, it seem I was wrong about the pattern.
update is immediately, but not always. I do not know why it doesn't work sometimes.
When it fail, then i have to sign in again to update.
anywhere to sign in will work too.

    Hey @ScottWong .
    Thanks for the update!

1Password in the browser is basically a reflection of your 1Password.com account. If you change something in 1Password in the browser, then it should immediately change on your 1Password.com account. In case something went wrong then it will not change in both 1Password in the browser and in your 1Password.com account. There shouldn't be any situations where one is updated and the other is not.

If there's a syncing/connectivity issue of some sort, then 1Password in the browser will not allow you to save or update passwords. The action will not work or you'll get some sort of an error. So if you do manage to save/update a password, that means it was already synced and written to your 1Password.com account.

If you can find a way to reproduce this issue and provide us with steps on how to reproduce, we'll gladly test things and see what we can find.
In the meantime, a suggestion that you might find helpful - if you're using a VPN or a firewall (or any other network traffic altering software), try to disable it and see if you are still experiencing the problem.
