Trying to pay for 1Password 7 but cannot get past asking for Secret key. Not set up and account

I downloaded 1Password 7 for IOS on Feb 4 and now want to pay and cannot get secret key even after following instructions. Previously we had 1Password 6.1 which was licensed to my partner. I wanted to upgrade to use on IOS 11.2.1, although already using in iPad and iPhone. Tried everything and cannot get to payment before expiring in 3 days
