Trouble with AT&T (att.com) Login
Every time I try to use 1Password (in Chrome on OS X) to fill and submit my username/password on att.com the login fails. I believe the cause is that 1Password has my username (which is my phone number) stored in the form of "1234567890" and att.com expects the username to be in the form of "(123) 456-7890". It appears that att.com uses some JavaScript to automatically transform input such as "1234567890" into "(123) 456-7890", but because 1Password fills in and submits so quickly the username is not transformed by the JavaScript and thus not submitted in the correct format. It would be nice if 1Password gave the page a chance to do its JavaScript thing before submitting the login request.

You could set your login to this site to fill but not submit, and then submit manually.

Hi @slessard,
It looks like ATT changed their site's design.
You might notice something else as well, ATT is censoring the password field, it is converting the password characters to asterisks. So, it is not only formatting the phone number but also converting the password. If you do a manual save, you'll see that 1Password is saving the asterisks.
I haven't been able to get 1Password to fill in properly because of what they're doing on the site, I can get it to fill in the phone number by adding the (123) 456-7890 as the username but the password isn't working. You'll need to manually copy and paste the password in for now.
We can't intentionally break this as it's their right to do what they want. You should contact their support and see if you can change their mind about it.

I have an "AT&T Access ID", which is just a username that allows me to access all my AT&T accounts in one view. That's what I have saved in 1Password and ⌘\ still works great for me on att.com for logging in. Is creating an "Access ID" an option for you?

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. Please try saving a new Login manually like this:
- Visit the site's login page: https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute
- Enter your credentials, but DO NOT submit the form.
- Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.
- Change the title and make any notes (if desired).
- Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.
Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a new Login for my own AT&T credentials at:
https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute
Manually saving a new Login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Saving a new Login item allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. :)
I hope that helps. Please let me know.
