Happy Monday, everyone!
Let’s start the week off on the right foot with a new release. Today’s update weighs in at a healthy 17 changes and includes a lovely new lock screen. 😍
The new design allowed us to make the account icons much larger and gives a much simpler and more comfortable feeling all around. The unlock animation is much improved and includes a nice ✅ on each account as they get unlocked.
We also took our first step towards having a true Settings window. It really is just the first step as it’s not interactive yet so you’ll need to edit the settings.json
file directly like you’ve done so far. This won’t be required for much longer though as we should be making this fully functional over the coming weeks.
For a full list of changes, check out our release notes.
Go to the getting started guide for instructions on installing or updating 1Password.
As always, thank you so much for using 1Password and for all of the reports you send in that help us make our service better.

After upgrading to 0.9.14-4-47763, the application immediately locks after entering my password, citing "1Password locked after 0 minutes of inactivity"; I do have
"security.autolock.minutes": 0
in.config/1Password/settings/settings.json
but according to the schema description, "Set to 0 to never lock when idle."Team Member
Ah! Thank you for the incredibly detailed report, @mdaniel. 🤗
I was able to recreate this issue locally and will followup with the folks who were just tweaking the lock monitor implementation. With any luck we'll be able to fix this in the next update (typically released on Monday's). Until then you'll need to change the value to a large one.
I'm loving the app. But I can't find the option to delete an item, I need to enter in the web interface to go Edit >> Move to Trash
I know linux app is still in Beta heheh Put this feature in the nest releases.
Good job guys, I'm pretty happy with the linux client
