Mobile browsers on iOS don't use a browser extension like desktop browsers, they use the iOS autofill feature:

Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad

The autofill feature should work in any browser on iOS right away, so please give it a try in Ecosia and see if that works there for you ;)
