How do I use IPassword with password protected applications like Quicken

I would like to use IPassword to store passwords for sensitive documents and applications. Is IPassword just for Internet logins and passwords?

    @HannaG If you click on the 1Password in the browser icon or open 1Password mini from the systray then you can search for applications and then drag & drop or copy & paste the password into your application.

    How do I SAVE passwords and user names for applications like Quicken in Windows 10. I am still missing a step.

    @HannahG Using 1Password in the browser, click on the 1Password icon -> Large '+' sign in a circle -> Login.
    Or using the 1Password desktop app, at top-centre next to the search box, click on the large '+' sign -> Login.
