Ignoring "Warning unsecured page" when auto-filling an identity on localhost
Hello,
I created an identity on 1password to be able to auto-fill forms:
When I autofill a form on localhost (ex: http://localhost:1111), I have an annoying "Unsecured (HTTP) page" popup warning :
I would like to be able to ignore it.
It pops up 30 times a day as I constantly need to autofill when working locally.
There is no real security issue worth having this popup shown when working on localhost because no data reaches the internet.
It's not very important that the site uses https. Additionally, taking time to configure https for every localhost environment only to fix that 1password warning and not for other purposes is not an option for us.
I did not find a way to tell 1password that this 1password identity can be used on http / localhost, hence did not find a way to get rid of this false positive warning.
How do I prevent this popup from appearing when autofilling on localhost? Can you make an exception for localhost?
Thanks

Hey @raphaelalm ,
Sorry for the delayed response. Can you provide me some additional details on your setup:
- Which browser are you using?
- Are you autofilling from the inline menu suggestions (that show up inside/under the fields on the website) or from the 1Password extension icon in your browser's toolbar?
- Do you have an example page/form to send us so we can test it here?
- Have you tried adding a "http" tag to that identity item? Does that change anything?
Thank you.

Hi @ag_yaron , here are the details you requested:
- I am using Google Chrome, version 95.0.4638.69
- I am autofilling from the 1Password browser extension icon
- You can reproduce the behaviour on any page with a text input hosted on http://localhost
- I tried adding a "http" tag to the identity item, nothing changed.

Thanks @raphaelalm ,
I'll file this internally so our developers can investigate and decide on the best course of action.
In the meantime, can you please confirm that if you manually create a new identity item in the 1Password app - the same issue occurs when you try to autofill with that new identity item?

Thanks @ag_yaron. I confirm that this is exactly the behaviour I described in the post.
