How to effectively store non-login data in vault
I"ve been using 1Password for over a decade now and due to its limitations I started putting all my devices (brand, model, purchase data, warranty info, configuration details, etc.) into the Servers category. It's not an ideal solution, but it does get the job done.
Is there a better way at this point? I've created my own template since the Server template doesn't do what I need it to. Ideally I wish I could change the icon and name of the category, or (even better) just create my own category with my own template in Preferences. The latter would also resolve issues with being able to store health info and many other categories that I've created on my own in the Secure Notes category.

Hey @Djgsd86232
Ideally I wish I could change the icon and name of the category, or (even better) just create my own category with my own template in Preferences.
This is actually something that we've had in beta (available to 1Password Business customers) for some time. I'd love to see us get that over the finish line. In the meantime we have some guidance on using Secure Notes for arbitrary data storage:
Making the most of Secure Notes
And there are a couple of other resources that may help as well:
