Does not fill password for vrbo.com aka homeaway.com

Any update on fixing the autofill for the password field on VRBO? I've seen requests from other users.
As a reminder - it appears to fill the password (dots appear) but it doesn't actually enter the data in the field.
I have to manually copy/paste.

Just now I deleted and created a new entry from scratch and still no luck.

Are there alternative suggestion on how I can fix this myself while waiting for an official fix?
I know we're playing whack-a-mole here, I do use this site a lot as I'm a host and it's a part of my daily routine.

    I also received a tip from Nhat Nguyen at 1Password that I'll pass on here - either are a perfectly good workaround for this issue:

    1/ Select the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar > Drag and drop the password to its place. (you may need to delete characters in the password field first)

    2/ Alternatively, after using 1Password to fill, you can press any key on the keyboard, such as the space bar. You should see the log in button activated. You can then remove the key/character (delete it) and select Login
