Import Data CSV using Custom Template

We're currently using the Beta Custom Templates feature to add all the additional fields we need, However we are unable to utilise this when trying to import a CSV file using the bulk import feature.

Is there anyway to import and select the custom template and map the fields? as we have over 200 accounts to import.

We have tried as an alternative to import the CSV file and create the custom fields during the import however this is very limited in comparison as it is only possible to add custom text fields unlike the Custom Templates. Ideally we need at least 2 or 3 additional password fields and using the template allows us to do this.

    Agreed, the new custom templates feature is great but not being able to import into it means a lot of manual typing to get batches of accounts added to it.

    If we could import to the custom categories then it would be awesome 👍👍

    Hi @ac296,

    Thanks for taking the time to share this. The 1Password.com CSV importer will currently import items for Logins, Credit Cards and Secure Notes; other categories (including those created using the beta Custom Templates) are not supported.

    Our development team has expressed the desire to improve this, and potentially expand this list to give users more options when importing data from outside of 1Password, though I don't have anything to share as far as news in this area. I'll go ahead and share your helpful feedback internally so they can continue to track interest.
