Changing Computers

I will be changing computers as I change jobs and would like to uninstall 1Password on my current work computer and remove all of the accounts/data and then have it transferred to my new computer at work or my home computer. Is there a best practices for doing this? I don't want to have to input all of the accounts I have saved in my current install and start from scratch on my new computer. Please advise.

    Good question. The simplest thing to do would be to:

    1. Sync your data via Dropbox to the new computer
    2. Unlink your previous computer from your Dropbox account
    3. Uninstall 1Password
    4. Uninstall Dropbox and remove its folder from your previous computer

    You can also manually copy 1Password.agilekeychain from your old computer to the new one if you prefer not to set up Dropbox syncing for some reason.
