How come I did not need my secret key?

I just got a new iphone, and used icloud to restore my old apps. When I opened 1password on my new phone, I only needed to put in my master password. How come it did not ask for my secret key considering this was a new device?

@baseballplayer25 Encrypted copies of your secret key are saved in your device backups and keychain. So you just need your master password on a new Apple device. See towards the bottom of the following page:
