1Password fails to connect to my account (ie, https://my.1password.com)

Whenever I launch 1Password (7.9.2) on my Mac (12.2) or on my iPhone 11 (15.3.1) I get an "Authentication Error".
The error dialog box lists the correct credentials:

  • Email address
  • Secret Key
  • Master password

It fails even if reenter these quantities manually.
This has been happening for a month and a half.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the setup code I received when I bought 1Password (quite a few years ago).

How can I recover from this? I am not getting backed up.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're running into an authentication error when using 1Password on your Mac and iPhone. So that we can investigate further I'd like to ask for a diagnostic report from your Mac. Attach the diagnostics report to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

    The report will be in zip format. Please send the entire file.
