Feature Request: Ability to remove custom icon in a record

On the v8.6.0 80600039, it doesn't appear that it's possible to remove a custom icon on a record and go back to the default - instead you can only upload a new icon. Obviously a workaround would be to delete and recreate the record entirely, but this seemed like a strange omission or possibly a bug. See screenshot for an example - this record is a software license key that I uploaded a custom icon for (details blacked out).

The option to remove the icon is within the current nightly. So it looks like the team is working on this feature.

I'm on 1Password for Windows 8.6.0-43 beta build, and I'm able to remove custom icons. 😕

Is there a difference between the Windows and the macOS version builds?

  • Not that I'm aware of @DenalB. 8.6.0-43 is newer than what the OP was running when they posted (8.6.0-39). As Tommy mentioned there was work ongoing related to this at that time, and it is now available. 🙂

    Thanks, @Ben and @ag_tommy!

  • Excellent!
