Why are my password pictures not shown in Safari?
Dear 1P-Team,
since weeks the pictures for the logins will not shown in Safari for Mac.
- "Show colored icons" on > Your icons are partly shown
- "Show colored icons" off > No icons are shown at all
Thanks and greetings

@Joy_1P: Thank you. Your specialist recommend not to use own created rich icons. I was shocked, because I spend much time and efforts to create clean and high-res icons for a beautifully maintained data base. Forgive me, but I expect a solution in which my icons stored in 1Password will also be displayed in all browsers. Thanks for your understanding.

Hey @Terylon, thanks for getting back to me. I definitely understand why you'd want to have clean and high-resolution icons for your data. Unfortunately, there's a known limitation with custom icons not showing via the Safari App Extension on our end. We can leave some feedback about this to our developers, but I'm afraid we don't have a timeline on if or when this will be fixed.
That said, we recently released a new extension for Safari. This extension is modeled after the extensions in Chrome and Firefox, which does not have issues with custom icons. Could you give that new extension a try? You can get it by searching for "1Password for Safari" in the Mac App Store: https://cln.sh/pLVhtv
Once you install the new 1Password for Safari extension, make sure to open Safari > Preferences > Extensions, turn on 1Password for Safari, and turn off the old Safari app extension: https://cln.sh/8Y4UZh
Let me know how that goes!
