I have 1Password version 7 at the moment. I have just read a review of 1Password version 8. Is it available as an upgrade?

What OS? It's still in beta on MacOS, but is available for Windows and Linux. Of course you can use the beta if you wish.

Actually, there isn't a version 8 for iOS / iPadOS!

But you are welcome to use the beta build of version 8 for macOS. Just download from here:
