Maybe this is a feature re-request, but the 1Password Chrome extension insists on butting in on input fields where it has no business butting in. Specifically, Grafana has an "enter variable value" field to filter data in a dashboard and 1Password constantly gets in the way. Is there some other way to have 1Password stop being annoying beyond uninstalling the Chrome extension?

1Password Version: 8.7.0

Hey @egm! That doesn't sound right. Could you share a screenshot of the field from Grafana where 1Password is showing up but should not? Could you then collect the page details of the form and send it to us?

    To collect the page details:

    1. Navigate to the site and sign in.
    2. Go to the page/form with the filling issue. Do not fill any information on that page/form.
    3. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar.
    4. Click Help and choose Collect Page Structure.
    5. 1Password will save a .json file to your "Downloads" folder.
    6. Attach the .json file to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com. You can include your screenshot in the email as well.

    With your email please include:

In the meantime, I'd recommend dismissing the inline menu as a workaround:

    • Press ESC on your keyboard.
    • Click on a blank area in the page to remove focus from the field.
    • Click the little 1Password icon on the right side of the field to toggle it off.

Let us know if you have any questions about that.
