Autofilling forms from Swiss websites

When autofilling forms from Swiss websites by using my Identity Item, the "Zip/Postal Code" field in the form is not filled. In Switzerland, the "Zip/Postal Code" field is named "NPA" (which stands for "numéro postal d'acheminement"). It looks like 1password cannot match "Zip/Postal Code" with "NPA". Could oyu open a ticket for this?

  • Hello @delphi, thank you for letting us know about this. I'll be happy to look into this for you.

To make sure I'm starting with the right information: can you let me know the current version of the extension you're using? Thank you!

Hi @delphi, thanks for the clarification. My recommendation would be to upgrade to the new 1Password browser extension (which we call 1Password for your browser). This works with a 1Password subscription, and because it's a newer product it handles the above situation better, and we're also able to implement additional fixes and improvements where they're needed as well. We're no longer creating new updates for the classic browser extension at this point, since the most recent version of that was published in 2019, and is succeeded by 1Password in your browser.

Thanks again for letting us know of this issue. I'll be keeping a closer eye on reports of how our extensions handle Swiss addresses in the future because of this, too. We appreciate you letting us know of the discrepancy!
