How to handle auto-fill on a non-standard login form?

Hi,
Love your product BTW.

I'm having trouble with autofill on https://my.nib.com.au/login/memberNumber.

It asks for "Mobile Number of Email" first. I want to pre-fill my mobile number. They then present a Member Number field.
I then get a one-time SMS password to login.
I do have a password for my NIB account but they no longer use the typical username/password form.

I'd like to solve this problem using autofill in 1P8, presumably with custom fields. Even inspecting the page source and trying I've been unable to get it to work and would like to understand the general approach as I think these type of logins are becoming more common.
