Unable to install 1password extension in Firefox. 1Password for Mac 8.7.0

When I try to install the 1password extension in Firefox, it says I have to download Firefox. I do so, but nothing happens after I move Firefox to the Applications folder in Mac. Running Mac OS Big Sur 11.6.6
