Github fills in user/pass; fails on one-time-password
Windows, all patches, etc.; MS Edge browser.
trying to sign in to github.
1p supplies username/password. Hit "Sign in", button title changes to "Signing in...", then browser arrives at https://github.com/sessions/two-factor. See image.
I have reset the one-time password (let 1p read the QR code from the screen).
My clock is set according to NTP, so should be OK.
Can login happily in firefox (but not via 1p).
Have revoked old sessions in github.
Can't see anything out of the ordinary in the 1p logs.
Thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks.
1Password Version: 8.7.1
Extension Version: 2.3.5
OS Version: win 11, all current patches

Hey @1pBob !
I remember that I had the same issue with GitHub.
When adding the 2FA code from GitHub you got the complete link in 1Password, right? It should look like this:
otpauth://totp/xxxxxxxxx:LSGO1593248576F75?
Try shortening this link, so that it looks like this:
LSGO1593248576F75
Does this work now?

Also: had AdGuard AdBlocker extension installed (but turned off for Github).
Disabled that, no change.

Hey @1pBob !
I tried just the SECRET part...no difference.
Strange... In my case, just using the Secret works. 🤔
Did you try to log into GitHub here?
https://github.com/loginNext I have to enter the 2fa code, which 1Password is autofilling.
https://github.com/sessions/two-factorThat's it.
I'm using Brave browser v1.39.122 with 1Password in the browser v2.3.8 beta.

Thanks.
I can manually login with my username/password and OTP, as you have shown. But getting 1P to do it fails fo rme.
I have reset all settings in Edge (which removes all extensions) and will reinstall 1P extension in a while.0 -
I just tried logging into GitHub in Microsoft Edge browser and 1Password in the browser v2.3.5.
It worked for me the same way as in Brave browser. 🤔

Looks like resetting/reinstalling cleaned something up...'cos now it is working. Lesson for the future, I guess: the 1p equivalent of "have you tried turning it off and on again?"
Thanks for the assists, though.
