Fill Identities
In 1PW7, if I needed to fill in info that made up my identity (name, address, etc.), I went to the 1PW7 in the menu bar then "Identities" then fill. Maybe I'm missing something but I can't find that capability on 1PW8. Is it there somewhere?
Thanks,
Mike

I haven't seen it explained anywhere, but when I go to a web page that asks for my name and address, etc., if I open the browser extension, my two Identity items (one each for business and personal) are displayed. The item I want can be selected by scrolling with the up-and-down arrow keys, and the information can be entered by pressing Return.

Jack,
Thanks for the reply but I didn't have the "Autofill" button present. I saw references to it in other forum comments but in my installation it wasn't present.

Hi @hmtucker:
Just to confirm we're on the same page, you can access the 1Password pop-up by clicking the 1Password icon in Safari's toolbar. It should look a bit like this:
If you search for the name of your Identity item, do you see an Autofill button in the result, like so:
Let me know!

Jack,
I must be doing something wrong. Here is a screenshot of 1P8 on a page that I want to autofill...

Hi @hmtucker:
Thanks for that screenshot, that definitely helps. Just to confirm, you've installed 1Password for Safari as well, and added it to your toolbar in Safari, so it's visible like so?
If you click the 1Password icon I've pointed to and search for your identity, you should have the Autofill button available like in the screenshots I've shared previously. Let me know how you get on with that!

Jack,
Thanks for that! I was not paying attention to that button because I have always interacted with 1P through the button in the main Mac menubar.
One last question. On a login page like the one in the screenshot, clicking in the username field or on the 1P icon used to bring up the 1P suggestion box directly below the username field but now it doesn't. Is there a way to get that function back?
Thanks so much for your help,
Mike!0 -
Hey @hmtucker:
If you've enabled the autofill menu settings in 1Password for Safari by right clicking the 1Password icon in Safari's toolbar, choosing Settings, and then confirming both of these options are enabled:
Quit Safari fully and re-open it, and you should have the inline menu again. Let me know how you get on with that!

Jack,
Thanks again for all of your help. Sorry for being the village idiot but for whatever reason I just wasn't getting it. Now all seems good!
Thanks,
