Big annoyance with 1PW8 browser extension in Firefox. It suggests a new password for me, but the instant I click on it to accept the suggested password, it fills it, refills it in a confirmation field, throws up a Save dialog, but at the same time loads the next page where my new passwords have been accepted and the Save dialog is gone before I can click on the 'Save' button! Now I have created a new password of unimaginable complexity and it's not been saved.
Had to use a 'forgot password' link three times just now before I managed to hit Save before the dialog closed without saving.
This is dumb, and you simply have to fix it!0 -
Is the site one that you can share? Does this happen on more than one site? All sites, by chance. It almost sounds site specific. What version of 1Password are you using and what version of the extension?

Yes, it was the online camera store for Henry's. They have a new store and required everyone to reset their password with a one-time link. You could go to Henry's (https://www.henrys.com/), make an account. Sign out. Go to the sign in and pretend you have forgotten the password. Get a verification code by e-mail. Use it to get to the evil page in question which asks for a new password and to confirm the new password. I have had it happen on one other site, but can't recall which it was now.
Using macOS 12.4, Firefox 102.0.1, 1PW8 extension 2.3.70
