Using with Google Chrome portable and dropbox

I have Google Chrome portable installed in my dropbox folder. When I try to install the browser extension for Chrome I just get:
Connecting: 1
Connecting: 2
and so on.

Is it possible to use 1password with portable browsers?

It is not possible to use the 1Password browser extension(s) with portable browsers. Essentially, integration requires integration. That is to say, integration of 1Password into browsers requires that the browsers be "integrated" (installed) in order for 1Password to be able to properly communicate with the sandboxed browser extensions.
