Enabling MFA opens lots of browser windows
I turned on MFA for 1Password (family edition). The next time I opened my browser it asked me to login. But before I could enter my password it opened another window, then another, another, etc. I never had a chance to login, forget using Authy for MFA. This happened in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. I cleared Edge browser data and it still happened. I finally used a private browser session to log into the 1Password site and disable MFA. Now things seem to be back to normal.
Is there some additional step I missed to keep my browsers from continuously spawning new tabs? I'm using pfBlocker on my firewall; but even with that turned off the browsers still went "new tab" crazy.
1Password Version: 8.8.0
Extension Version: 2.3.7
OS Version: Windows 10
Browser:_ Edge, Chrome, Firefox
