Reusing same password for website and app

As many websites also have their own apps, I use the same password for them by setting them separately as two entries.
Watchtower reports this as a reused password.
How do I consolidate them so there is only one entry for both website and app use?

Would these apps be on a mobile device such as an Android or iOS device, or on a desktop device such as Mac or Windows?
