This is not a question but a UI issue.

On secure.ssa.gov the 1Password "No items to show" blocks the text entry box for second factor identification. Can that be fixed?

Hi @WhydoIneedanacccount, I took a look at secure.ssa.gov but couldn't get to the second factor authentication field. Are you able to share a screenshot of what it looks like on your end?

You can mask or remove any sensitive details from the screenshot. No need to include your password or anything like that. However, please do include the full screen.

  • Start here: https://secure.ssa.gov/RIL/SiView.action

Then two screen shots attached, 1 and 2

    Hey @WhydoIneedanacccount 🙂

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. It looks like the field has some attributes that indicate to 1Password it could or should fill a saved item there. I'd be happy to gather some more details and forward this to our development team for further investigation. Here's how to do that:

    1. Navigate to the page where you're asked to enter the security code.
    2. Right click the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar.
    3. Hover with your mouse over Help and select 'Collect Page Structure'.
    4. This should download a file ending with '.json'.

Attach the page structure .json to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here.

In the meantime, you can either left click the 1Password icon in the field to make the 'No items to show' popup disappear, or you can turn that popup from showing automatically when a field is focused:

    1. Right click on the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar and select 'Settings'.
    2. Scroll down to the Autofill section.
    3. Ensure 'Show autofill menu on field focus' is toggled Off.

    Thanks for your cooperation!
