Add a feature to add the current website to a saved password or matched credentials after logging in

It would be a useful feature to be able to automatically add a website to credentials that are matched upon logging in - maybe with a confirmation. E.g. I have a website that uses credentials but the website isn't added to it so it doesn't suggest as a login option. Upon logging in I get a little pop-up asking if I'd like to add this website to the existing saved login.

It would be nice to be able to click on the saved login via the browser extension etc, and click "..." > "Save this website to this login" instead of "..." > "Edit..." > "Add a website" > "Paste" > "Save".

I want to +1 this suggestion, this feels like an easy win and also your competitors have this feature. I feel this is a super helpful workflow to have in the browser extension.

  • Hey @kylepantall, @whyulookin,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.

I think you may be able to achieve the behaviour you are after by right clicking on the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choosing 'Save Login'. This will capture the website URL and the credentials you have entered.

If this is not helpful can you provide me with an example so I can fully understand?

    Thank you!

Hi! This tends to only work for new logins only - I'm suggesting a feature to add the current website to an existing login so it will be suggested by 1password

Would be good when "No logins suggested" there's an option to "Find a login..." which lets you find the correct login and this adds the website to the login web addresses.

This would be useful on phone too - if no login suggested, allow in settings an override that shows the "Open 1Password" on all email and password input fields.
