“New Version of Safari found”
Whenever I start my Mac, I get a popup that says
****New version of Safari found
1Password 3.5.3 does not support Safari 16.2**** (it then states the build number, and there is a block of text telling me to check for updates).
This has been happening for years. I have updated 1Password, as well as my MacBook numerous times.
How do I get rid of it?

Hi there @Secure13
It sounds like you still have a very old version of 1Password on your Mac. Here's what to do to remove it:
- Look in the menu bar of your Mac (near the clock) for any 1Password icons.
- Right-click each one and choose Quit, or Quit 1Password Completely, as appropriate.
- Have a look in the Applications folder and see if you can find 1Password 3.
- Drag it to the Trash.
If you're still having trouble, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
☞ Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)
ℹ️ Follow the 1Password 7 instructions, regardless of what's installed.
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to
support+forum@1password.com
.⚠️ Don't post your diagnostics report here.
With your email please include:

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much! :)
