Disable annoying 1Password icon in fields

Hi,

Is there anyway to restore the classic 1Password 7 (classic extension) behaviour where it stayed in its little extension icon on the tool bar until asked to do something?

I have disabled "Show autofill menu on field focus" and other options, but cannot remove the nagging blue lock icon appearing in text fields

Is this a bug or a regression for features?

Hey @semaja2, you can remove the 1Password extension icon from the login fields in your browser by doing the following:

    1. Right-click the extension's icon on the top right corner of the browser and select Settings.
    2. Go to Autofill and turn off the "Offer to fill and save passwords" option there.

With that off, the only way to fill would be via a keyboard shortcut or by opening the extension popup in your browser's toolbar.

Please note that the new extension does not provide a prompt to save a login after you submit it to a website. To save a login, you would have to fill out your login on a website, right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, and click Save Login.

Is there any reason the old behaviour was removed? This new behaviour seems like a great way to not capture important data at the time of entry

It is confusing why so many anti patterns were implemented into 1P8, 1P was king because it wasn't just a browser extension, but now it feels just like Last Pass
