How to securely enter root password in Terminal after ssh login

Hey there, I just discovered the 1P SSH Agent. Great stuff. Now there is one more thing:

As normal security precaution you should never ssh into your machines using root, right? The normal flow is:

  1. ssh into the machine (I use the 1P SSH Agent now, works great)
  2. in the ssh session of the login user, use su - to log in as root

So far I copy the root pw in 1P and then paste it into the terminal. I consider the clipboard insecure and I feel uncomfortable doing that. Isn't there a better way? You guys are so creative, you must have come up with something.

Regards, ALEXander.
