End of browser extension?
I got a troubling notice that 1Password is stopping with Browser extensions. I use these every day. Is this correct, do I need to find another password locker?

Only the "classic" extension.
If you run 1Password 8 on Mac or Windows you can still use a browser extension.

But it is forcing a move to 8, so for those of us hoping to stay on 7 (and more importantly local syncing), it means moving to the cloud or moving on. A non trivial choice.

Hello @eldijomo and @lmslms! 👋
1Password Classic was last updated in 2019. It was built on older technologies and will not be compatible with future updates to web browsers. Our latest extension, 1Password in the browser, is in active development: https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/
If you are using an older licensed version of 1Password then please send in an email to
support+tradein@1password.com
so that our support team can offer you a special discounted 1Password membership and help you migrate over to an account. 🙂-Dave

Maybe I do not understand.
I clicked the link and got a page that tells me I do not have the extension installed.
When I click the link to install, I get on the page to install the extension, and it tells me it is installed.!?https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension/#browsers
